CES, Inc. Announces Employee Updates
BREWER – CES, Inc., a Maine-headquartered firm of engineers, environmental scientists, and land surveyors, is pleased to announce employee updates in our Brewer and Saco, Maine offices.
Johanna Szillery, C.S.S., has been promoted to Supervisor and Project Manager within the Environmental Division after 17 years of experience in the soil science and natural resources field. She was previously a Senior Project Scientist and will retain that title for certain projects requiring her expertise. Szillery joined CES in 2013 and quickly became an invaluable resource for projects that require natural resource surveys, environmental permitting and numerous other environmental reviews and reports. Recently, Szillery has managed and organized field work to aid in the timely development for dozens of solar projects. Szillery was also recognized with CES’ Annual Safety Award in December 2019. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Environmental Sciences from Drew University and a Master of Science degree in Soil and Environmental Sciences from the University of Maine, Orono.
Andrea Dickinson has been promoted to Project Manager and Project Engineer within the Environmental Division. She was previously a Project Professional and has been with CES since 2010. Dickinson has steadily grown into a role where she has taken on increasing responsibilities including managing complex compliance schedules for large projects across the company, conducting storm water compliance related training and presentations across the State and serving as a client representative for several high profile ongoing environmental projects. Dickinson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine, Orono.
Brian Hanlon has been promoted to Senior Designer in CES’ Engineering Division. He joined CES 20 years ago as a CADD Technician after graduating from Northern Maine Technical College. He is responsible for the drafting and design of various Structural Engineering projects. He is a key member of CES’ Building Services team drafting design plans using Revit and AutoCAD.
Cynthia “Cindy” White joins CES, as Senior Administrative Assistant and Senior Project Assistant in the Brewer office. Returning home to Maine, she joins CES from the Nevada Department of Transportation. White is one of the friendly faces greeting clients at the headquarters and will be working closely with technical staff on project documents in accordance to CES’ QA/QC policies.
Based out of CES’ Saco branch office, Zachary Thomas has recently been promoted to Senior Designer in the Engineering Division. His previous title was Designer and prior to that worked for Mohlin & Company which was acquired by CES in 2016. He excels in designing and drafting civil and structural projects ranging from sketches and layouts to major drawing packages for heavy industrial and manufacturing clients. Thomas develops accurate and detailed design drawings to aid in meeting client needs and schedules. He recently assisted with the design of our new office space in Saco.
